New Ohio Concealed Carry Bills to Be Considered

Ohio Concealed Carry Gun Bills

Next week several pro-gun rights bills will be heard and considered in the Ohio senate.

House Bill 48 would expand the places where Ohio Concealed Carry permit holders can carry a firearm for self-defense. This includes some government buildings and would allow Universities to allow concealed carry if they choose.

Senate Bill 180 would allow an employee to store a firearm in a locked vehicle without fear of employer retribution even if the employer prohibits firearms on the property. This bill is very important since private citizens shouldn’t have their constitutional rights to keep and bear arms revoked inside of their own car because they park in the parking lot of their employer. Currently employers have full power to enforce those types of restrictions in their parking lots as well.

Contact your representatives and let them know you support both of these bills!
